This work reflects on my experience of living outside of home country for long period of time.  It conveys the feeling of wanting to go beyond what I am capable of, but ends up losing a part of myself - Korean identity. The plaster covered wire extending out of the wall represents a moment of reaching outward as the blood comes out from the wound, which is portrayed with Korean traditional knots.
